Day: 1 Cochin
Upon arrival at Cochin airport or Ernakulam railway station, you will be transferred to your hotel. Later in the day, enjoy a half-day city tour of Cochin visiting the St. Francis Church, the Mattencherry Palace, the Jewish Synagogue and Chinese fishing nets.
Day: 2 Cochin-Munnar (130 kms /approx. 4 hour drive)
After a hearty breakfast, proceed on a drive through the picturesque countryside of Munnar. On arrival check into your hotel.
Day 3: Munnar
After a sumptous breakfast, enjoy a city tour of Munnar visiting the Christ Church, Mattupetty dam and lake. Spen the rest of the day free at leisure relaxing in your hotel.
Day : 4 Munnar-Thekkady (105 Kms/ approx. 3 hour drive )
After an appetizing breakfast, drive to Thekkady (Periyar) from the land of tea plantations to the land of the spice plantations. On arrival check into your hotel. The afternoon is at leisure to walk through the bustling spice market in the Kumily village or to visit spice plantations.
Day : 5 Thekaddy-Alleppey-Houseboat(110 Kms / approx. 4 hour drive
After a delectable breakfast, embark on a boat cruise on lake Periyar (boats can be hired directly), to observe wildlife in the Periyar sanctuary. Later drive to the idyllic backwaters of Alleppey and board your houseboat.
Day : 6 Kumarakom
After enjoying your breakfast, your houseboat would transfer you to your resort in Kumarakom. The rest of the day is at leisure. Relax in serenity of your beautiful resort.
Day : 7 Kumarakom-Kovalam (190 Kms/ approx. 5 hour drive)
After breakfast, drive to Kovalam where on arrival you will check into your hotel.
Day : 8 Kovalam
After a delicious breakfast, the day is free for leisure activities. You can opt for a rejuvinating Ayurvedic body massage (on direct payment basis) or simply enjoy the facilities offered by the resort.
Day : 9 Kovalam
After a hearty breakfast, embark on the adventurous excusion to Kanyakumari. Return to Kovalam.
Day : 10 Departure Cochin
After breakfast, check out of the hotel. Drive to Cochin and transfer to airport for your onward journey.
